Efficacy of an internet delivered support program for patients with bulimic symptomatology

Development and evaluation of an online aftercare program for bulimia nervosa and bulimic symptoms is studied in a RCT in Hungary following inpatient treatment. Intervention includes 5 online components: 1) psycho-education 2) supportive monitoring and feedback 3) forum 4) group chat and 5) individual chat. Intervention group will have access to the components of the program for four months. The main objective is to increase the portion of patients who are classified as "in remission" at 4-months follow-up (60% in intervention group versus 30% in control group). Secondary objectives include improvement of quality of life and exploration of patients' adherence to the various components of the program.
