The research is conducted to create and provide specific expertise and communication technology that go across WP1-WP4.
The team in Heidelberg provides adaptations of several e-health tools that have been developed at the Center over the past years. In cooperation with four INTACT partners, the efficacy of the interventions in studied: In Braga and St. Etienne, translations of the German prevention and early intervention program "ES[S]PRIT" are investigated. An adaptation of the platform for the field of ED aftercare is studied in Budapest. Finally, an adaptation of the program "ED Parentsupport" aiming at the reduction of carers’ burden is investigated in Prague.
Data assessment and data management in these studies is handled via adjusted versions of the monitoring software Web-Akquasi also provided by the Heidelberg team. This program is also used to conduct the four longitudinal risk factor and process-outcome studies in the above mentioned Centers.
The researchers in Lausanne (NetUnion) provide its know-how and expertise in the design, development and deployment of online therapeutic support applications for the Geneva network node. Specifically, the adaptation of SALUT e-health tool for individually tailored treatment support for Binge Eating Disorder. Part of this process is the implementation of security measures that warrant data protection and confidentiality as well as reliability and user friendliness of the system.
